Position Description
International management consulting company specializing in supply chain and logistics currently employs about 100 skillful consultants in Europe, US and China.
The company has an opening in Shanghai Pudong for a Senior Management Consultant. This role will perform supply chain management consulting within purchasing, production, and distribution areas, from strategic solution to process design and improvement level as well. The responsibility includes preparation and presentation of proposals, gathers and analyzes facts, develops recommendations, and presents reports.
Qualifications
• Masters Degree in business, logistics or related field
• Mature in business environment with supply chain consulting experience
Experience
• 5 to 7 years in supply chain or logistics related roles
• Management of analytical and problem solving projects
• Time in a professional services/management consulting capacity
Responsibilities
• Manage or participate in several concurrent supply chain management assignments, as
- Supply chain strategic formulation
- Logistics network design – number and location of stocking points
- Transportation cost improvement
- Warehousing design and fulfillment operations
- Manufacturing processes and lean production
- Strategic sourcing/lean procurement
• Participate in the proposing and selling of management consulting services

Job Description: E2E Supply Chain expert. Knowledgeable of current Lenovo supply chain structure, material and information flows, costs, serviceability, strengths and weaknesses. Current on industry best practices and supply chain trends with respect to the electronics manufacturing and consumer products industries including supply chain knowledge of major Lenovo competitors. Creation and maintenance of the ideal "To-Be" supply chain addressing the industry trends, customer expectations and business constrains of Lenovo. Visionary break through thinking innovating Lenovo's supply chain for our customers, stockholders, company and employees.
• Manage living supply chain strategic roadmap
• Communicate and work with GSC executive leadership on the strategic roadmap
• Work with outside organizations to learn as well as represent Lenovo supply chain as an industry leader
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or above, major is supply chain management or equivalent experience. Masters degree or higher is preferred.

• 5+ years industry experience
• Ability to read, write and speak English required.
• Mandarin skills are also desired but not required.
• Ability to travel internationally as needed

我读了您的一些文章，觉得很有启发。其实我对于供应商管理和供应链管理还是很有兴趣的。我现在在一家认证公司做项目经理，我们不仅仅提供客户认证服务，还对于客户不熟悉的行业，提供一些它的供应商和供应链方面的服务。公司的性质相当于您曾经提到过的法国公司B.V .
我很想从事供应商管理和供应链管理方面的工作。而且拥有浙江大学项目管理专业的硕士学位，本科是学电气自动化的。想问问您这样的背景，我要从事供应商管理和供应链管理是否适合，还有怎么切入。

适合与否要看自己的爱好与背景。项目管理与供应链管理有很多交叉点，我以前也是项目管理出身，同济大学的硕士。找个相关的位置，干起来就行了。
